SAINT PATRICK’S DAY PARADE ASSOCIATION & LOCAL VENUES HOST “OKTOBERFEST PUB CRAWL”, TO KICK OFF ON OCTOBER 15, 2010 IN DOWNTOWN HARRISBURG
 Harrisburg, PA (September 1, 2010) – “Come Celebrate Oktoberfest with the Irish” in downtown Harrisburg. The Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade Association (HSPDPA) is proud to announce one of the most unforgettable fundraisers of 2010 – the “Oktoberfest Pub Crawl” – on Friday, October 15th beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The Parade Association collaborated with five local pubs in downtown Harrisburg to create the “Oktoberfest Pub Crawl”. Participating pubs include: McGrath’s Irish Pub at 202 Locust Street,
Molly Brannigans at 31 N. 2nd Street, Pep Grill at 209 Walnut Street, Shady McGrady’s at 225 N. 2nd Street, and Ceoltas Irish Pub at 310 N. 2nd Street. Each pub will feature outlandish drink specials specifically for paid ticket holders, distinguished by labeled wristbands and green beads.
The “Oktoberfest Pub Crawl” will follow bag pipers from one sponsoring pub to another in forty-five minute intervals. Once the forty-five minute interval is complete at the designated pub, the bag pipers will play and everyone will move on to the next pub. The night will conclude at Ceolta’s Irish Pub with live entertainment provided by the Kilmaine Saints, the unparalleled Celtic Rock band in Central PA.

Due to the overwhelming demand, we regretfully have to cap ticket sales at 150 so please order now so you do not miss out.
